Children's Malpractice

There are many times during a lifetime that children can suffer a serious medical injury as the result of negligent medical treatment, misdiagnosis, inexperienced surgeons, improper surgical procedures, catastrophic accidents, auto accidents, harmful and defective products, and even in relatively minor accidents like a fall. Any of these can cause additional serious problems, and even death. The effect on a child can be devastating, but there is also a tremendous impact on the entire family. Many times the family does not even know the child has a serious medical injury, or how it occurred. Starting in pre-natal care, a child is at risk of injury that extends through the birthing process. A lack of oxygen, asphyxia, trauma, a delay in a caesarian section, a lack of treatment, the wrong treatment or medication all can put a child at risk. A delay in diagnosing appendicitis, meningitis, any illness or disease all affects our children's lives.

The Lewis Law Firm has a long history of investigating the causes of medical injury and relating them to mismanaged and negligent treatment by doctors, nurses, hospitals, pediatricians, obstetricians, nursing homes, workplace, etc. We have the necessary staff, experts and legal resources to litigate these injuries successfully.

We are here to help you with a free consultation to evaluate your child's problem and assist you with our experienced staff and dedicated personnel.
